Italy is definitely one of the countries from where the most delicious and famous food has come from. However, a lot of people miss out on another mastery of the Italians – the ice cream, also known as gelato. It is unsure when the first gelato was invented in Italy, but some sources say it was in 1686 with the invention of the first ice cream machine.
